Meet the Coach
MY STORY
For many years I worked in the IT industry as a business intelligence consultant, while triathlon was just a hobby on the side. But sport has always been one of my core values and a true passion.
The day I crossed the finish line of my first Ironman was unforgettable. That journey taught me that anything is possible if you commit to it with all your heart. It changed me as a person, helped me grow, and showed me how powerful determination can be.
That experience made me realize I wanted to do more than just compete. I wanted to share this passion, inspire others, and be part of their success stories. That’s when I decided to pursue coaching full time.
Since 2019, I’ve been coaching athletes of all ages, from beginners to experienced competitors, across many countries. From triathlons (Ironman, middle, short distance) to single-sport goals in running, cycling, or swimming — I’ve seen firsthand how the right support can take someone further than they ever imagined.
In the same year, when I moved to Iași, I founded ROUA Triathlon Club, where my goal has been not just to train athletes, but to build a stronger, healthier sports community.
And while I still love training and competing myself, the most rewarding part of this journey is helping others succeed.
As Walt Disney said:
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

DATA-DRIVEN SCIENCE
Transforming Numbers Into Insights
Sport has become a science. With all the data we collect from watches, meters, and sensors, the real challenge is transforming numbers into meaningful insights. As someone with a data-driven background, I enjoy measuring, analyzing, and making use of modern tools to support performance.
HUMAN CONNECTION & ART
Coaching is an Art & Relationship
But numbers are not everything. Coaching is an art. Every athlete is unique, and what works for one may not work for another. I believe in a holistic, collaborative approach, where constant feedback shapes the training process.
Coaching is also about relationships — trust, communication, and support. A coach is more than a trainer: they’re a guide, a mentor, sometimes even a friend. Someone who believes in you when you start doubting yourself, and who stands by you in both victories and setbacks.

how i started

2019 - THE SPARK
My coaching journey started back in 2019, when I trained myself for my very first Ironman. I’ve always been self-driven and motivated, and I wanted to learn everything about preparing for such a challenge. That year of training was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life — and when I crossed the finish line, I knew I wanted to help others feel the same.

2026 - PRESENT
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of coaching dozens of athletes every year, helping them achieve goals from their first sprint triathlon all the way to full Ironman races, marathons, cycling events, and beyond. Each athlete I work with teaches me something new, and together we prove, over and over again, that limits are meant to be broken.
