Do You Have Any Questions?

TrainingPeaks is the platform we use to deliver and manage your training plan. It is the leading platforms for endurance athletes and allows you to record, track and analyze your training in one place.

The free version gives you access to your training calendar and workouts, while also allowing you to sync your sessions with compatible devices and apps such as Garmin, Zwift and Apple and many others.

TrainingPeaks makes it easy for us to build and deliver structured training plans tailored to your goals, schedule and current fitness level. You can follow each workout directly from your calendar and keep track of your progress throughout your training.

You are not left on your own with your training plan.

If you have questions about your workouts, training schedule or how to approach your plan, you can contact us at contact@besttcoaching.com.

We aim to respond to coaching-related questions within 24 hours.

During the first stages of your plan, we are available to help you understand how everything works and how to get the most from your training.

Please make sure you provide your email address when purchasing your plan so we can also send you useful information to help you get started.

There are some limits to this support. For example, a training plan purchased as a structured plan is not the same as fully individualized 1-to-1 coaching, so we cannot necessarily make ongoing changes to your plan or provide detailed analysis of all your training data.

However, for questions related to using your plan and getting the most from your training, we are here to help.

Choosing the right plan depends on your goal, target event, available time and current fitness level.

Our plans are designed for athletes with different goals and levels of experience.

If you are unsure which plan is right for you, consider taking the Quiz filling in the type of event you are preparing for, how much time you have available to train each week and your current experience with endurance training.
_____________

What type of plan should I choose?

Choose the plan that best matches your goal and the event you are preparing for.

Some plans are designed specifically to prepare you for a target race or event, while others may focus on building general fitness, maintaining fitness or preparing for the next training phase.

Your target event should always be the starting point when deciding which type of plan is most appropriate.
_______________

What length of plan should I choose?

For the best results, start with your main target race (“A” race) or event date and work backwards.

Ideally, choose a training plan that fills the time available between the start of your training and your target event.

Longer plans generally allow for a more gradual progression, while shorter plans may require a faster increase in training load.

Your body responds best to consistent training, gradual progression and regular recovery — principles that are built into the plans provided by us.

You can also include smaller races ( “B” or “C”) during your preparation, provided they fit appropriately within your overall training plan.
_____________

What level should I choose?

Choosing the right level is important to make sure the training is challenging but realistic for you.

As a general guide:

Beginner — suitable if you are new to the event or currently train only a few times per week.

Intermediate — suitable if you already have some experience with structured training and regularly train several times per week.

Advanced — suitable if you have significant experience with endurance training, regularly train at a higher volume and are comfortable handling more demanding sessions.

Don’t focus only on your previous race results. Your current training volume, consistency, experience and available time are equally important when choosing a plan.

If you are still unsure, contact us at contact@besttcoaching.com for guidance.

Yes.

Life does not always follow the training calendar, so some flexibility is expected.

You can usually move individual sessions within the week when necessary to accommodate work, family commitments, travel or other activities. You can also replace a workout with a similar session when circumstances require it.

However, the order and purpose of workouts can matter, so try to avoid making major changes to your training structure without understanding how they may affect the overall plan.

TrainingPeaks makes it easy to view your workouts and manage your training schedule in one place.
____________

Can I train for multiple events?

Yes.

Your training plan will normally be built around your main “A” event, but you can also include additional “B” or “C” events during your preparation.

These smaller events can be useful as training opportunities and can help you build race experience, keep consistency without taking focus away from your main goal.

The key is to integrate them properly into your training so that they complement your preparation rather than interfere with it.

If you are unsure how to fit another event into your plan, just contact us at contact@besttcoaching.com.
